Installation problems
Make sure you installed the app from the HubSpot App Marketplace and completed the authorization flow.
Confirm that you are logged into the correct HubSpot account and the correct FabFunds account.
Check that you have the necessary permissions in HubSpot to install and manage apps.
Permissions or access issues
If team members do not see the FabFunds extension:
Confirm that the app is still connected in HubSpot under Connected Apps.
Check that the user has access to the relevant objects (contacts, companies, deals, or tickets) based on your HubSpot permissions.
Ask a HubSpot admin to confirm user permissions and access settings.
Data not showing in the extension
Refresh the HubSpot record page to ensure the sidebar or panel reloads.
Confirm that the record you are viewing has the required information or identifiers used by the extension.
Check that your FabFunds and HubSpot connection is active and not disconnected or expired.
Log out and log back in to HubSpot and FabFunds if needed.
Disconnecting and reconnecting the app
If the extension seems out of sync, you can try disconnecting and reconnecting it:
In HubSpot, go to Settings > Connected Apps.
Find FabFunds in the list and disconnect it.
Return to the HubSpot App Marketplace, find the FabFunds app, and reconnect it.
Complete the authorization steps and verify that the extension loads correctly on your records.
Basic troubleshooting steps

Refresh your browser and clear your cache if the UI appears stuck or outdated.
Try another browser or an incognito window to rule out browser extensions or cache issues.
Confirm your internet connection is stable.
Verify that you are using a supported and up-to-date browser.
Ask a teammate to check if they experience the same issue in their account. If they do not, it may be permission-related.

You cannot complete installation or authorization even after retracing the steps.
The extension panel does not appear on any supported records.
Data that you expect to see is consistently missing or incorrect.
You receive error messages when interacting with the extension.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
I installed the app, but I don’t see FabFunds in HubSpot. What should I do?
First, confirm that the app appears in HubSpot under Connected Apps.
Then, open a supported record type (such as a contact or deal) and refresh the page.
If you still do not see the extension, verify your user permissions and ask an admin to confirm your access.
Do all my team members automatically get access to the extension?
Access depends on your HubSpot user permissions and how your account is configured.
Some users may need to be granted access to certain records or tools before they can use the extension.
Why is some data missing from the FabFunds panel?
The extension can only display data that is both available in FabFunds and permitted by the access scopes you granted.
Make sure the HubSpot record has the necessary details used to link to FabFunds data and that your integration connection is active.
Can I disconnect the extension without losing data?
Disconnecting the app in HubSpot stops new data flows through the extension.
It does not automatically delete existing records or data in HubSpot or FabFunds. For data deletion or retention, review settings in each platform separately.
Who should manage the integration in my company?
Ideally, someone with both HubSpot admin-level permissions and familiarity with your FabFunds account should own the setup and ongoing management. This helps ensure the right permissions are granted and configuration stays aligned with your internal processes.
